Biomass Wood Pellet Boilers
The Clyde system of sustainable energy wood pellet boilers, based on the Trio, can also fitted with a gas burner or oil burner. Click on the pdf case study showing an old people home which is fitted with a 200 kw Iwabo wood pellet burner. The Trio can also be fitted with the Eurofire wood pellet burner up to 500 kw. This combination has been successfully used for many years all over Europe. In the UK, wood pellet boilers have only comparatively recently been used.

CAST IRON RADIATORS
Clyde Energy Solutions do two ranges of cast iron radiators, the
Windsor and
FKR. Clyde also do steel radiators, the
Tesi Tubular. All are sold through major merchant distribution.
WINDSOR CAST IRON COLUMN RADIATORS
General
The Windsor cast iron column radiator range comprises eight stocked models, with heights ranging from 430mm to 980mm providing
complete versatility in sizing radiators to fit into almost any area.
Application
Windsor radiators are suitable for use in either open vented or sealed heating systems with a maximum operating pressure of 6 bar. Please note, the maximum emission rate of any radiator should be no greater than 6 kW at 4T60K and no more than 60 sections long.
Materials and Manufacture
Windsor sections are made from grey cast iron complying with IS0185. Individual sections are joined together in the factory with screwed nipples to make up radiator blocks of various lengths. Where blocks are to be joined on site to make up long radiators then nipples and joint rings are provided. Assembling tools are available for this purpose, Con nection/blank bushes, a vent valve and key, are supplied with each radiator. Robust wall brackets and floor mounts allow complete flexibility when locating the radiator.
Finish
Each radiator has a protective grey primer coating that requires further paint finishing on site.
Guarantee
Windsor radiators carry a five year guarantee against manufacturing defects.

Heat emissions comply with EN442. For convenience the emissions given are based upon:
EN442 with exponent 4T55.5K - 82°/71 °C water & 21 °C room 4T60K - 90°/70°C water & 20°C room
Overall length of each section plus joint ring -- 60.5mm For example, a 10 section radiator would be 605mm long plus 2 x 15mm for connection/blank bushes. Overall nominal length of radiator with bushes -- 635mm. Connection size R'/z (R3/4 when requested).

FKR CAST IRON COLUMN RADIATORS
The FKR Cast Iron Radiators are similar to the Windsor but they have webbed sections, as opposed to the open sections in the Windsor. They also come in a wider range of sizes. The finish is a white primer.

TESI STEEL COLUMN RADIATORS
General
There are sixty models in the Tesi radiator range, please refer EDS670 for the full specification. Virtually any practical radiator can be created that matches the emission requirement. The most popular models are listed in the table below.
Application
Tesi radiators are suitable for use in either open vented or sealed heating systems with a maximum operating pressure of 6 bar. If requested 2, 3, and 4 column radiators can be made for pressures up to 10 bar. Please note, the maximum emission rate of any radiator should be no greater than 6 kW at 4T60K and no more than 54 sections long depending on model.
Materials and Manufacture
Tesi sections are made from 1.25mm thick tubular mild steel. All radiators are delivered assembled to site. Connection/blank bushes, a vent valve and key, are packed with each radiator. Robust wall brackets and floor mounts allow complete flexibility when locating the radiator.
Finish and colours
Stocked radiators are finished in a high glass white epoxy powder coating. A chart is available showing the other colours and finishes available.
